What is Business process outsourcing and a non voice BPO?

Business process outsourcing (BPO) is the contracting of a business task, to a third-party service provider. Usually, BPO is implemented as a cost-saving measure for processes that are non core to a company’s existence.

BPO is usually divided into two categories:

1) Non Voice BPO or back office outsourcing, which includes internal business functions such as payroll or analytics, and
2) Voice BPO or front office outsourcing, which includes customer-related services such as marketing or tech support.

A non voice BPO usually offers high end process solutions.
