A systems analyst is tasked with the research, planning and recommendation of software and system tools to meet a company’s business needs.

Systems analysts act as middlemen between vendors and the company they are employed with. They are responsible for developing cost analyses, design considerations, and implementation time-lines. They may also be authorized for feasibility analyses of a system before making recommendations to senior management.
